But I have so much stuff going on right now that I want to share with you. I’ve just launched a new blog at ChicagoNow.com called “Writing in the Wind,” which will focus on life in the city and some of the photos I take here. If you forget the name, you can find it on ChicagoNow.com under “City Life.” Check out the crazy photo I took of the storm last night in my post “Caught in a Squall on Lake Shore Drive,” as well as “A Fishy Story,” my kickoff post for that blog, and take some time to peruse the site, there’s a lot to read and see there.
For the serious-minded, I have two news-y pieces up on Associated Content, “Do Candidates Even Listen to the Songs They Choose for Campaigns?” (ok, that’s not totally serious) and “Budget Crisis in Illinois Hits State’s Most Vulnerable,” which is totally serious.
And if you haven’t gotten a chance to check out my short story, “Mother’s Little Helper,” or my poem “From Here,” why not take a peek? It’s not like you have anything else to do with your time besides reading what I write.
